Ready for the Quota in Europe

Already more than 3.000 Senior Female Executives of the higher management levels across Europe put their trust into the exclusive Recruiting Platform

Munich, January 2015:
German Government has paved the way for more women in the supervisory boards of bigger companies. The cabinet passed a bill that prescribes a women’s quota of 30 percent for the supervisory boards of large companies.

Exxecta, the recruiting platform for Senior Female Executives, publishes its review on 2014 and outlook on 2015 at the same time when the great coalition resolved their disputes.

The review on 2014 is positive in all ways. „We are pleased that we now represent more than 3.000 evaluated, high-class profiles of female executives across Europe in our Executive Pool  and making them accessible for the market“, comments Nicole Bernthaler, one of the two Managing Directors of Exxecta. “Our expectations have been exceeded by far with this development. To confirm our assumption, that a platform like Exxecta is meeting the requirements of future recruiting”, Bernthaler continues.

Since the end of 2013 Exxecta is accessible for Senior Female Executives, HR decision makers and Executive Search Companies can make use of the intuitive Search Technology for five months now. “Exxecta was able to place already vacant management positions, first agreements were negotiated with international companies”, explains Christoph Bücheler, Co-Managing Director.´

The current development with regards to the women’s quota has been followed by the two founders with big interest. “The argument, finding adequate women to place in supervisory or other board position is so difficult, cannot be confirmed by us”, adds Bücheler. 40% of the featured profiles at Exxecta were already at C-Level or Managing Directors, a big part already had seats in an overview body. 

“Many companies reject the quota, especially because now they need to overthinkg their usual recruiting processes. This is where Exxecta closes a huge gap”, explains Bücheler.

 Access to Exxecta as a Senior Executive is only possible by invitation from Exxecta or an approved and listed candidate. Based on this recommendation strategy the Exxecta Pool grew rapidly on an international level, which took the founders by surprise. “We didn’t expect our listed Senior Executives to recommend Exxecta in such an intent to their international contacts”, says Nicole Bernthaler. In the meantime the profiles origin of the AGS-region, from EMEA and Eastern Europe, even from Africa, Asia and the US.

But the Exxecta Team doesn’t solely rely on their innovative Search Technology, which doesn’t only match profiles that meet the requirements, but as well alternative Search Results, they also provide a free of cost individual support to each Searcher, if required.

„We are a people business“, comments Bernthaler, „and therewith always willing to provide personal assistance and support“.

For the Year 2015 Exxecta is more than confident: After a refining of the Profile Logic in January, the growth of the Team has the highest priority, in order to be established for the development of the flexible quota. Other than that, Europe is in the focus of the founders, as they receive more and more requests from countries that are in the process of establishing a quota, and they want to be ready for these markets as early as possible.
